Helping Hands of Goose Creek
Helping Hands of Goose Creek is a local food pantry governed by a Board of Directors made up of members from supporting churches and other organizations. HHGC is a Trident United Way Funded Partner and works in close cooperation with the Goose Creek Clergy Association to serve the spiritual and temporal needs of the residents of South Berkeley County, SC. HHGC opened a food pantry in 1989 to distribute emergency food to families in crisis situations. The center has been in continuous operation since. Services have varied and numerous special assistance projects have been accomplished during our years of operation. Food distribution, however, remains the primary focus of the organization.
